"...
Lift that solves all the issues ..."
Imagine living in a perfect world where you could actually have the best of everything.
Imagine a world where people actually took the time to legitimately
solve the problems that others are faced with every day. Imagine working
with a company that invests time and money into listening to what their
customers are saying. You don't have to imagine any longer; it has become
reality. The UniversaLift has solved every issue that our customers
are faced with every day. Here are some of the typical problems you
will face if you purchase any other lift and how we have uniquely solved
these issues in one complete package.
1. Problem: How will I unload the lift from the truck? If
you purchase a conventional 2 post lift you will need a fork lift,
back hoe, tow truck, roll back truck, several very strong friends,
or you will need to make a trip to the trucking terminal to have it
loaded on your pick up or trailer. Because of the size of a conventional
2 post lift (the very smallest is 9'2" long), it will not fit on a
lift gate and is also not easily handled with a pallet jack by the
truck driver. Therefore, the only way to unload the lift would be
to use any of the above mentioned methods.
Solution:The unique patented column design allows the UniversaLift
to ship in a 101" x 46" x 24" crate, one that is easily handled by any trucking company and that will easily fit on any standard lift gate (as long as the delivering trucking company offers lift gate service). Just mention sideway loading when requesting lift gate service. You no longer have to rent expensive materials handling equipment or have to make unloading arrangements. It's not much more complicated than having a package come in the mail.
2. Problem: I can't decide if I want to purchase the lift
with the bar that goes across the top or the one with the plate on
the floor. I lift cars mostly, but I do occasionally work on trucks
and contractors vehicles with ladder racks and I think the bar would
get in the way. I want to be able to do transmission work, so I don't
want the plate on the floor.
Solution: The unique patented design eliminates the need for any overhead bar or plate on the floor, which is generally used for routing equalization cables to compensate for uneven lifting under unbalanced load conditions. The 2 columns are joined together and lift in unison via hydraulic equalization. The only thing that runs from one side to the other is hydraulic tubing, which can be extended or lowered to any height you would require, or even hidden in the roof rafters or pre-installed in your floor. A hydraulic equalization valve distributes an equal amount of hydraulic fluid to each piston for even lifting. In the unlikely event that the cylinders should lift unevenly, there are 2 additional valves that can be opened or closed allowing the operator to balance the lifting of the load as he or she sees fit. It also allows the operator to lift one side higher than the other for various services such as vehicle damage inspections and assessments.
3. Problem: I want a lift with a bar that goes across the
top, but I don't have the ceiling height. With standard auto lifts,
the average overall height of the lift is generally anywhere from
142" to 156" depending on the make or model, which means you have
to have at least this much ceiling height.
Solution: Because the overall height of the UniversaLift
is less than 100", you can fit the lift in almost any height situation.
The flexibility of the hydraulic tubing offers the opportunity to
run the tubing in any manner you see fit and conform to almost any
height.
4. Problem: I have a very narrow bay that I want to put my
lift in. Do you have a lift that is narrower? Most standard size lifts
are anywhere from 132" to 156" outside to outside dimensions. This
means that you can not generally get a lift into a bay that may be
smaller than that.
Solution: The UniversaLift solves this problem. You can easily
move the columns to conform to the size of the bay. You no longer
have to have a garage that will fit a lift, because the lift will
fit the garage.
5. Problem: I would like to be able to drive my larger trucks through the lift to park them inside at night but it doesn't look like there is enough drive through clearance.
Solution: The UniversaLift solves another problem. You can
easily move your columns a little wider to accommodate your unique
lifting situation. Again, you no longer have to have a garage that
will fit a lift, because the lift will fit the garage.
6. Problem: Will I be able to install the lift by myself?
Common standard size lifts generally have large bulky columns that
require at least 2, and sometimes 3 people to stand them up (unless
you possess exceptional strength). The columns are also difficult
to move once they are stood up (to a non-professional installer)
Solution: The unique patented column design of the UniversaLift allows the columns to easily be stood up by one person and easily maneuvered into any position you require. One inexperienced person can easily install the lift by following very clear and easy to read instructions in around an hour (longer for pizza and beer breaks).
7. Problem: I can't decide if I want a symmetric or an asymmetric
lift design. What if I get the asymmetric and decide I want the symmetric?
This has been an on-going question with nearly all customers. It is
generally difficult for people to decide which design will benefit
their application.
Solution: Because of the flexibility of the UniversaLift,
it can be set up in either an asymmetric or symmetric application.
The columns could be turned completely forward (as in a true asymmetric
design) on a 45 degree angle (as in most common asymmetric designs)
or they can face one another in a symmetric design. You can work with
the placement of your columns to decide which application is best
for your individual needs.
