America's Pride Shinemaster Prep Stations are constructed of quality materials and manufactured to exacting standards. Designed for extended service and high production requirements, while providing the correct enviroment to produce the finest quality finishes.

AUTOMOTIVE PREP STATIONS are designed to provide an almost dust free enviroment by 3 stage air filtration before returning the air back into the area. This increases production by reducing housekeeping, safeguards your health by removing respirabe particles form the air and reduces energy cost by recirculating your shops heated or cooled air. In addition an optional damper kit can allow you the ability to do spot painting and priming in the same unit (check local codes for ability to paint in prep areas). The units are available in a number of configurations.

• Construction

  Constructed of 18 gauge G90 galvanized sheet metal panels. Panels are manufactured with 2" rolled flanges and 1/2" back rolled flange and punched on 6" centers for bolt together assembly, using 5'16" hex head bolts and nuts zinc plated Grade 5. Panels are manufactured using automated CMC machinery for size and hole accuracy. Standard tube acrylic caulking is supplied to seal seams.

• Exhaust System - Exhaust system uses low dba. tubeaxial exhaust fans complete with TEFC electric motor, 208/230/460 volt 3 phase (single phase motor optional). Fans are designed with a streamlined belt tunnel and non sparking blades. Fan housing is iron phosphate processed steel with an acrylic epoxy paint finish. A cast iron sheave is factory installed.

• Lighting- Enclosed Prep Stations have roof mounted and side mounted 40 watt 4 tube fluorescnet lighting fixtures (less tubes). Lighting systems are designed to conform to NFPA-33 regulations. All lighting is UL and/or ETL listed.

• Filtration - Dual independent filtration system provides filtration for both dust and paint overspray. The dust system has 3 stage filtration consisting of a fiberglass pre-filter, pleated secondary filter and a return air canopy mounted final filter. The paint overspray collection system, which is vented directly to exterior atmosphere, uses standard 20" x 20" x 2" paint overspray collection media.
