America's Pride DOWN DRAFT EXHAUST BENCH is designed to provide a down flow of exhaust air and the contiminates away from the operator, providing a safer and healthier working environment. Used primarily for removing dust, welding fumes, chemical fumes and other airborne particulate, it can also be equipped to remove spray paint overspray and other applications. Benches are designed with and without their own source collection. Units without source collection should be attached to a centralized collection unit or a independent collection unit. Units designed for paint overspray removal must be exhausted to the exterior atmosphere.

• Construction

  Constructed of 18 gauge G90 grade galvanized sheet metal panels. Panels are manufactured with 2" rolled flanges and 1/2" back rolled flange and punched on 6" centers for bolt together assembly. Optional powder coating is available.

• Exhaust & Capture Systems- Exhaust Benches are designed with or without source collection systems. Units without are equipped with 1 or 2 - 8" exhaust ports for connection to a centralized collection or independent collection unit. Units with built in source collection include 2 and 3 stage filtration units and cartridge type filtration units. Standard exhaust fans are tubeaxial type which can be used for both dust and paint fume removal.

• Filters- 2 stage filtration units are equipped with 20" x 20" x 1 fiberglass pre filters and 20" x 20" x 1" pleated secondary filter. 3 stage filtration units are equipped as above and a 20" x 20" x 1" high density final filter. Cartridge type filtration consists of pleated cartridge/s using a high frequency vibration cleaning. Down Draft Benches used for fume removal use activated carbon pleated filters instead of standard pleated dust filters. Units used for removal of light paint overspray use 20" x 20" x 2" paint arrestor media.
