Huth's Mitey Mate II Portable Expander and Accu-Sizer™ System (Model 1680) is the go-anywhere tool. The 1680's bulls-eye adjustments allow you to zero-in on the right expansion the first time. Plus, the 1680's segment sets fit the arbor like a glove to give you the expected expansion time after time. Set to operate at 3200 psi, The Mitey Mate II requires a 110 Volt (20 Amp) power supply. No compressor is needed. It comes with tooling to expand 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" I.D. mufflers and pipes (3" or 3 1/2" capability with additional tooling) and has up to 17,000 pounds of expanding force available. The expander features a pistol grip that weighs only 7 pounds. The electro-hydraulic motor/pump sits on large casters, so it's ideal for work under the car.

Features & Specifications Huth redefines expanding portability and convenience with this down-sized, air-powered offspring of its popular Mitey Mate II™ expanding unit. Ideal for making flares*, ball joints***, and slip connections under the vehicle or on the bench; Mitey Mate Jr. is not a lesser expander: It delivers both the power and the accuracy you demand. Set to operate at 3200 psi (shop air pressure between 80 and 120 psi maximum**) this pint-sized powerhouse puts 17,000 pounds of expanding force in your hands. Mitey Mate Jr. also comes with tooling to expand 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" I.D. mufflers and pipes (3" or 3 1/2" capability with additional tooling). It also comes with Huth's unique Accu-Sizer™ System for right-on expansions, job after job. The expander itself, with its high-impact pistol grip, removable arbor tips and simple-to-set bulls-eye sizing adjustments, weighs only 7 pounds. All three pieces together weigh only 34 pounds. The handy storage unit, which holds the expander, the three segment sets and one of the two detachable arbor tips, is 9" high by lO 1/2" square. The power pedal is only 8" high, 10" long and 5" wide, and fits under the storage unit.
