America's Pride Air Make Up Systems are designed for years of reliability, with low cost maintenance and energy efficiency. Turns your spray booth into a forced heated air drying chamber.
Cost efficient air make up units are designed with direct fired burners, available in natural gas or propane fired. Indirect fired units are available in natural gas, propane and oil fired. Steam and electric units can also be special ordered.
Direct Fired Air Make Up Systems- Direct fired air make up systems are 100 percent efficient, which means that all of the heat generated by combustion is released. There is no heat loss up a chimney, flue or through a heat exchanger. This provides a fuel savings not found on indirect fired units.
Construction-
Enclosed, weatherized cabinet of heavy duty, corrosion resistant galvanized steel. Welded sturdy integral frame provides rigid support to the burner and blower motors. Available in exterior or interior mounted, horizontal or vertical configurations, and top, end or bottom discharge.
The cure cycle usually takes between 30 to 45 minutes! How many more paint jobs can you complete per day with this system?

A variable speed controller is mounted on the booth exhaust fan motor/s to provide a 50 percent reduction in exhaust air during the cure cycle. This increases the efficiency and reduces the operating costs, while providing for a rapid cure without having to move the vehicle. An optional recirculation package is available to further reduce the operating costs while in the cure cycle.
Operation- With the booth exhaust system on and the heat switch off the air make up system will provide ambient outside fresh air to the booth during the spray cycle (summer). With the heat switch on the air make up will provide heated fresh air to the booth during th spray cycle (winter). The temperature is controlled by an adjustable thermostat with digital readout. After you have completed painting the vehicle, the operator exits the booth and turns the switch marked cure on.
The automatically controlled cure cycle begins#1 Purge cycle runs exhaust system to evacuate booth of any remaining fumes. (Adjustable timed)
#2 Upon start of the cure cycle the system will automatically shut off the booth lights.
#3 The temperature will rise to the pre-selectedtemperature up to 160 degrees F (adjustable thermostat).
#4 Cure cycle will continue for pre-selected time (Adjustable timer).
#5 At end of the cure cycle booth will automatically engage cool down cycle, bring in fresh unheated air to cool the booth and vehicle.
#6 At the end of the cool down cycle the vehicle is ready to be removed from the booth and a new vehicle to be sprayed and cured can enter the booth.
