Corghi's flagship product, ARTIGLIO BASIC is the most automated unit on the market; equipped with simple, functional controls, it reduces operator fatigue and meets the requirements of professional wheel mechanics.Operation is fully automatic, with pneumatic tilting column and 20" turntable, and it is ideal for mounting/demounting car, van and motorcycle tyres.The pneumatic tilting column combined with the 665 mm height of the turntable give maximum ease and speed of use during mounting/demounting.To ensure ergonomics and speed with every type of wheel, the turntable automatically tilts downwards for easier loading of the wheel onto the turntable and is equipped with a two-speed motor.The standard head is designed to protect even the lightest rims, using interchangeable plastic components for the inner surfaces contacting the rim during tyre mounting/demounting.Furthermore, to protect the rim, plastic guards are standard supply for all parts which could damage the rim during tyre changing, such as the turntable jaws, the bead breaker shoe and bead lifter lever.Components such as higher profile clamps and interchangeable clamping zones bear witness to the attention paid to ergonomics, safety and operating costs.The bead breaking unit is equipped with a two-position telescopic wheel pad (CORGHI patent) for breaking the bead on all wheels up to 14" wide and the bead breaker arm is of the "short stroke" type for quicker bead breaking.
